Today starts the 18th edition of the Kansas International Film Festival, and Writer's Block is part of the celebration. From October 12th until October 18th the Glenwood Arts Theater at Overland Park becomes a magnet for the best independent films from around the world. Dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of independent film, the Kansas International Film Festival showcases the art and power of storytelling worldwide and gather communities to share diverse cultures, viewpoints, and conversation around cinema.
