On June 22, I was a guest speaker at the inaugural session of the Ph.D. program in Labor, Development, and Innovation at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The event took place in the spaces of Fondazione Marco Biagi, thanks to the generous invitation of Professor Nicola Maria Dusi and Professor Chiara Strozzi.
I shared the session with Université Paris Cité Ph.D. candidate Marika Nesi Iammardo, who presented her research project on Work Development Innovation. During the session, we discussed issues of labor narratives, migration, and globalization and, I had the opportunity to share my experience as an immigrant artist and present my experimental short film Displaced.
The Ph.D. program in Labor, Development, and Innovation is part of the E4E (Engineering for Economics – Economics for Engineering) in collaboration with the Enzo Ferrari Doctoral Research Program in Industrial and Territorial Engineering, the Doctoral Research Program in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the Doctoral Research Program in Industrial Innovation Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Thank you all for the great conversation!
